The lake view was stunning, but the heater in the room was broken.

My stay at Gasthof Gosausee was truly delightful. The breathtaking views of the lake from my room were magical, especially as day turned to night. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making me feel warmly welcomed during my 2-night visit.

The economy double room experience was subpar. an itchy bed ruined the comfort entirely. For families, the classic triple room is cramped with four beds and a very small shower, lacking essential facilities like a fridge or kettle.

The location right by Gosau Lake is breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning mountain views never got old. The lake view room created a magical atmosphere, especially with changing light throughout the day. Dinner was exceptional. I especially loved the fish dishes, which were flavorful and well-prepared. The staff showed energy and friendliness, making the dining experience even better. However, the room was small given the size of the party. A family with four beds in a compact space felt quite cramped. There wasn’t a fridge or kettle in the room, which would have added convenience. Check-in felt rushed and lacked detail, as it took place in the bar where the staff seemed busy. Overall, the unique charm of the area and the great meal made the stay enjoyable despite the room's limitations.

Location was epic, right next to the lake. Room had stunning views of mountains, super clean and cozy. Staff was really friendly and helpful, making mornings a breeze!

In my wife's opinion, having more hooks in the bathroom would be great.

the view of the lake from my room created a magical atmosphere, and the convenient access to walking paths leading to the majestic Grosser Donnerkogel made exploring easy and enjoyable.

i had the most magical stay at gasthof gosausee! the location next to the lake was breathtaking, and the room had an excellent view of the mountains. the friendly staff made our experience even better, and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. there’s a lovely walking trail around the lake, perfect for nature lovers.

Meals, especially the soup, were delicious, and the staff created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made every interaction enjoyable. However, the small room had a compact bathroom that could have used some extra space, and the lack of a fridge or kettle added to the inconvenience. Check-in was slightly disorganized, which detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

The lake view was stunning and had a flat-screen TV. Check-in was a bit slow.
